The first question many players have when they first tear open their World of Warcraft game box is, "What class should I play?" And I'm afraid that my standard answer to the question is terribly unhelpful, "Why don't you try them and see which one you like best?"

I still think that's the best answer (I simply can't know all of your likes or dislikes to simply tell you "Mage" or "Shaman"), but today I'm going to try to give you a more helpful answer by defining the playstyles of each of the nine classes, and making some suggestions on which ones are the most newbie-friendly. So if you're trying to figure out which class might be best for you, read on!

Ok i started playing when WoW came out, I loved it back in the day, when epics wernt something you could spend 6 hours grinding av to get, when you'd have to wipe 20-30x just to clear 1 naxx boss when you didn't have it on farm,

I came back and made this warrior and hit 70 just after s3 came out and I see so many people with s1 gear it drives me nuts, now before you say "well you have s1 gear too" yes I do because if i didnt id have no chance against anything because of resilience, but its just..

Number 10: "Who heals/tanks?"
Number 9: "What's your spec?"
Number 8: "Who marks?"
Number 7: "Need to farm Soul Stones on the trash pulls."
Number 6: "Let's not die. I can't afford a repair bill. Nothing on the AH sold today."
Number 5: "Didn't bring powder for a table, sorry."
Number 4: "Anyone have meat? My pet will run away if I don't feed him."
Number 3: "I just got my Heroic key today..."
Number 2: "Which one do I Sap/Trap?"
